Eva is a photographer, she captures souls and the beauty of the human body. She was born on the 2nd of March in 2006 in Denmark, territory of Louisiana, the museum of Modern Art.

She was born 34 years old. Sometimes one can be born like this, on a white sheet of paper, by an intricate mind and a shaky hand. She appeared in the form of a question: WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER REAL FREEDOM? From that thought onwards she became a commitment with myself. I built her in my image, and tried to “fix” all my doubts and fears, like an artist creating its own moral universe with no regret or guilt whatsoever!

I wrote some premises and I tried to stick to them. Crossed my heart for the future to come and at that moment I created an invisible bond with this tenacious Eva.

Eva is free, she doesn’t need any kind of validation from external sources, she’s quite aware of being a social animal and that human connections are wired deep inside of her, her body.

She’s a free spirit in constant improvement now! I can’t hide the fact that while writing these lines, this redux biography of Eva, I was reflecting on how body and mind, and all considerations about it, are a place of resistance and how so much of this album is about what the body can withstand in this era.
