New in our Roster: Myra Maud sings Nina Simone

We are happy to introduce you to our newest project to our artist-roster: Myra Maud sings Nina Simone.

Myra Maud and her band pay tribute to the unforgettable artist Nina Simone, capturing her music and personality in all its facets and breathes new life into her timeless music. Inspired by Nina Simone’s powerful message the musicians present her repertoire in a wonderful fusion of tradition and modernity.

Myra Maud is known from countless large orchestral jazz and musical productions and has worked with renowned orchestras such as the Orchestre National Symphonique de France, the Claude Bolling Jazz Big Band and the symphony orchestras of Nashville, Detroit and Dallas, appearing alongside Céline Dion, Enrique Iglesias and Marius M. Westernhagen. She has also had the honour of singing for the legendary Quincy Jones and in Jan Delay’s band.

She is on the road with her band mates Lutz Krajenski, Hervé  Jeanne and Leon Saleh, who support her wonderfully as the rhythm section.
