We would like to congratulate Markus Stockhausen on his 65th birthday today!
Markus Stockhausen looks back on a long career. He recorded over 90 albums, on renowned labels such as EMI Classics, ECM, ENJA, SONY/OKeh and many others, was winner of the WDR Jazz Prize, the ECHO Jazz Prize, the German Jazz Prize and several others. Now celebrating his 65th birthday, he continues to be very active. Noteworthy are his latest CD publications: WILD LIFE (SONY/OKEH 2020 – German Jazz Award nomination), TALES (o-tone music 2021), ACROSS MOUNTAINS (o-tone music 2022).
He is also back on tour with the Markus Stockhausen Group in May:
