Aly Keïta has won the Deutscher Jazzpreis 2022 in the category “Special Instruments”! This award category honours artists who primarily use a special instrument for artistic expression – in this case the African balafon.
Aly Keïta can be booked with TRIO IVOIRE (Hans Lüdemann – piano/virtual piano, Aly Keïta – Balaphon/Mbira, Christian Thomé – drums/percussion) and the formations Trio Ivoire feat.
