Eight years after her last album “Dia Novo” and five years after the album “Viviane Canta Piaf”, in which she pays tribute to one of her greatest references, Viviane returns with “Quando Tiveres Tempo” (release: 03. June 2022 on o-tone music/Edel Kultur) – a great album full of instrumental and orchestral surprises and yet interspersed with Viviane’s unmistakable sound, the freedom of Anglo-Saxon pop, the melancholy of fado and the elegance of chanson.
In “Quando Tiveres Tempo”, Viviane (vocals and flute) is accompanied in all songs by Tó Viegas (Portuguese guitar), João Vitorino (acoustic and electric guitar), Filipe Valentim (keyboards), Ivo Martins (drums and percussion) and Bruno Vítor (double bass and electric bass), alongside a lavish array of illustrious guest musicians, including José Manuel Neto, Bernardo Couto, Ricardo Martins, Tiago Rêgo, O Gajo, Nélson Conceição, Amadeu Magalhães and the children’s choir of the Olhão Conservatory.
The new album follows an extensive discography by Viviane, who has had a major impact on the last four decades of Portuguese music.
