o-tone music is proudly celebrating its 25th anniversary this year! The international booking agency and label cordially invites all music enthusiasts to a musically interesting evening at this year’s jazzahead! CLUBNIGHT on the MS Loretta in Bremen on Friday, 12.04.2024.

Our CLUBNIGHT on the MS Loretta will not only be a celebration of our 25th anniversary, but also a musical experience that reflects our values and passion. Everyone is invited to enjoy this special moment and immerse themselves in the future of music together. The bands Ragawerk and Flamenkora will be performing.

Ragawerk
Frankfurt – Mumbai, loops and ragas, electronics, jazz and a pinch of Krautrock. Ragawerk are stretching new strings between Europe and the Indian subcontinent – and playing them with virtuosity. The project by Max Clouth and Martin Standke develops driving grooves, cosmic sound panoramas and profound meditations. Fluid sounds meet edgy beats, space-opening guitar sounds float above the electronic hatching of a modular synthesizer. Indian and Western sound elements merge into a unique fusion. The band’s roots in jazz remain unmistakable. Indian ragas and European-influenced jazz craftsmanship become Ragawerk.

FlamenKora
Through the sensitive and skillful interweaving of improvised trumpet and flamenco guitar, with traditional mandinka kora and vocals from Senegal, FlamenKora, consisting of Volker Götze, Ali Boulo Santo Cissoko and Roberto Monteiro, creates timeless and enchanting multicultural music; a welcome balm in these troubled times.
